Each day, hunger is experienced in every community across this country. Ending hunger in America depends on the volunteer work of literally millions of Americans who know that they can make a difference. We at the East West Church are doing our part to help end hunger in our local community.
During the entire month of February, we are collecting canned and other non-perishable foods to support Sweetwater Mission Food Pantries (formally known as C.A.M.P.)
These are suggested items:
- Canned Chili
- Canned Vegetables
- Canned Pasta - Spaghetti O's; Ravioli
- Canned Meats - Tuna; Salmon; Beef; Chicken; Ham
- Box Dinners - Mac & Cheese; Hamburger Helper, etc.
Sweetwater Mission's full-service client choice food pantry provides a variety of nutritious foods for families including meat and fresh produce. Clients may receive food every month for as long as they have a need. They also deliver food to senior citizens and disabled persons who live alone and have no transportation.
You can drop off all food donations during our normal business hours or our church services. You can also make a financial contribution to support this program below.
